Hi, I’m Parker! My life has been shaped by transformation through my experiences, both physical and emotional. Every chapter, big or small, has led me here: to a place where I feel called to share what I’ve learned with others. I carry a perspective that comes from living many lives in one, and I feel honored to bring that experience into spaces rooted in compassion, growth, and connection.

As a transgender man, much of my understanding of the world comes from being raised and socialized as a Jewish girl in Orange County, CA. Growing up in a heavily Christian environment where conformity was the norm shaped me deeply, even as I knew I didn’t quite fit inside its beige exterior. At 19, I came out as a lesbian and moved to San Francisco, a place that felt both physically and socially vibrant. There, I began the real work of understanding myself, my sexuality, and my gender. In 2010 at age 24, I began the physical transition from female to male.

Choosing myself during a time when acceptance was far less common came with real costs. I lost friendships and family along the way. But, I also gained a deeper sense of truth, resilience, and self-trust.

At 30, I married my wife, a black woman of trans experience. We’ve now been together for over a decade! Supporting her through each stage of her transition expanded my understanding of relationships, identity, and what it truly means to show up for her when the world refuses to see her. It also gave me a deeper understanding of the intersectionality of race and gender, not as concepts to debate, but as realities to live, and showed me how empathy, kindness, and understanding are necessary ingredients for meaningful change.

I am now sixteen years into my transition. I’ve grown into manhood in ways that were difficult and often lonely, but also deeply healing. Being raised and socialized female gave me tools that many men are never encouraged to develop: emotional awareness, vulnerability, and the ability to examine how experiences shape us internally. Because my family didn’t always know how to support me, I learned to raise myself emotionally, to listen to my own needs, and to become the authority of my own life.

Today, I believe no topic should be off limits. I’m someone who isn’t afraid to step into the shadows with others and talk about the hard things, the hidden things, and the truths we need to face in order to grow. My goal is to create space for those who are called to process, heal, and step more fully into who they are meant to be.
